Meeting & Pitch Skills
"Succeeding in Hollywood is 50% talent and 60% marketing"
This is one of my favorite sayings, because in this fiercely competitive business, doing 100% just isn't enough. You'll need to give at least 110% to succeed.
A big part of marketing yourself is being "good in a room". It's as important as being a talented writer, director, producer, actor or executive. Being "good in a room" refers to how comfortable and confident you are when you meet someone; the subtle way you convey that you are the right person for the job, that you can deliver what you're promising. Being "good in a room" is often the extra intangible that puts you over the top.
Hollywood GamePlan offers two ways to learn how to "be-good-in-a-room".
One approach is designed for a specific, up-coming meeting, interview or networking event. It's an intensive, targeted training to prepare you for your important meeting.
The other is a comprehensive approach to marketing yourself. This personalized training includes creating your own personal "story" (so you can present your best self in 60 seconds) and learning and practicing the strategies you need to be fully prepared for any encounter throughout your career.
Each process begins with an in-depth, 90-minute initial Assessment Consultation which can be in person or over the phone. The Assessment will help determine exactly what skills you need to sharpen and the timeline for accomplishing it.
The fee for the Assessment Consultation is $225. Subsequent sessions are priced according to your particular needs and time requirements.
Please email a request for a FREE introductory phone session to discuss your goals and see how you can benefit from individual or group presentation skills training.
